Purandeshwari begins state tour with Jagan bastion!

Newly-appointed Bharatiya Janata Party Andhra Pradesh unit president Daggubati Purandeshwari has decided to swing into action without wasting much time, as part of her strategy to activate the party leaders and cadre.

Purandeshwari, who began her mission by attacking the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government over the poor financial condition of the state, has chosen to commence the state-wide tour from his own bastion, Kadapa.

On Sunday, the BJP president would launch her tour from Proddatur in Kadapa district, where she would interact with the BJP leaders of Rayalaseema zone.

The meeting would be attended by the BJP leaders from Kadapa, Annamayya, Anantapur, Sri Satya Sai district, Tirupati, Chittoor, Nandyal and Kurnool district. Readmore!

Purandeshwari would discuss with them the steps to be taken for strengthening of the party network in Rayalaseema and rejuvenate the cadre by taking up a series of agitational programmes against the Jagan government.

She would also discuss the strategies to activate the party at the polling station level. She would hold meeting with constituency-level and mandal level leaders as well, after the regional-level meeting.

According to the party sources, Purandeshwari would later visit Guntur on July 25 when she would hold meetings with south-coastal Andhra leaders of the party.

On June 26, she would travel to Rajahmundry to review the party activities in the East and West Godavari districts.

On July 27, she would fly to Visakhapatnam, where she would discuss the party strategy with the leaders of north-coastal Andhra Pradesh, sources added.
