Preity Zinta was recently present at India Today Conclave East 2018. During the conversation, she recounted the near-death experience she had back in 2004 and how it changed her life.
For those unaware, on December 26, 2004, a massive tsunami had hit the Indian ocean which affected around 14 countries and killed approx 2,27,898 people.
At that time Preity Zinta was holidaying in Phuket, Thailand with her friends which too was badly affected by the natural disaster.
Preity revealed that she was almost died in that tsunami and lost most of her closest friends. In fact, she was the only one who survived.
She went on to say that the tragedy became a turning point in her life and it was after the traumatic experience that she decided to invest in the India Premier League.
