Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma who announced numerous projects in last few months, including Disha rape case, is currently making a film on coronavirus in the lockdown. But, what staggered all was he declared it as first film in the world on the epidemic.
But, there’s no truth in RGV’s claims. Young director Prashanth Varma who awe-struck with his first two films Awe and Kalki is the first one to make film on coronavirus. Even before lockdown was enforced, he completed 40 % of the film’s shoot.
In fact, he began the project much before COVID-19 came to light and was shooting till January end. The entire shoot has been wrapped up by now, if not lockdown was imposed in India.
The director comes up with an update now. The yet to be titled film’s pre-look will be revealed tomorrow at 9 AM.
Coming to RGV, he canned the film in lockdown, as announced by the director himself. So, Prashanth Varma clearly has upper hand over RGV.
