If the statement of YSR Congress party’s Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy is to be believed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi might launch some of the welfare schemes introduced by YSRC president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy shortly.
Sai Reddy, who is also Andhra Pradesh government’s special representative in New Delhi, told an official meeting in Visakhapatnam Collectorate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been invited as the chief guest at the inauguration of welfare schemes like YSR Rythu Bharosa, Amma Vodi and others.
“The date will be fixed for the programme, according to the Prime Minister's availability,” Sai Reddy said.
He said that the Jagan government was striving for the people's welfare and that it would abolish the illegal constructions which belong to anyone irrespective of the parties.
He said that Sachivalayam recruitment is carried out in the most transparent manner with the cooperation of the authorities.
He said the chief minister had written a letter to the Centre demanding the continuation of the Vishakha Railway Division, without merging it with Vijayawada Railway Division.
The MP has directed the authorities to ensure the welfare schemes carried out effectively.
