Pawan wants CBI probe into Viveka murder case!

Actor-turned-Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan on Saturday demanded an investigation by Central Bureau of Investigation into the alleged murder of former Kadapa MP Y S Vivekananda Reddy, uncle of YSR Congress president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He wondered why the chief minister who had demanded a CBI inquiry into the killing of his uncle before the elections had now gone silent.

He demanded that Director General of Police should give clarity on what action the police had taken in the case.

Pawan also demanded a comprehensive inquiry into the attack on the life of Jagan at Visakhapatnam airport in September last year by a waiter J Srinivasa Rao using a knife that is used in cockfights. The case was later referred to as “Kodi Kathi Case” by the media later. Readmore!

He alleged that the YSRC which had made a hue and cry over the attack on Jagan had now completely ignored it.

He reminded that Jagan himself had demanded a CBI investigation while he was in the opposition.

He recalled that immediately after Jagan was sworn-in as the Chief Minister, the accused Srinivas was out on bail. He demanded that the police conduct an impartial inquiry into the case.

The Jana Sena chief presented a virtual charge sheet on the YSRC government in the last 100 days.

He alleged that sand mafia was still ruling the roost. The Jagan government created a turmoil by scrapping power purchase agreements.

On Polavaram, the chief minister sought to stall the works, instead of finding out irregularities.

He also felt that the government was creating parallel administration with village volunteers.
