Within hours of Raju Ravi Teja, Jana Sena Party founder-member and politburo member announced his resignation from the party on Friday, Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan reacted rather softly.
“We have accepted the resignation of Jana Sena Party politburo member Sri Raju Ravi Teja garu from the party. We respect his anguish and opinions expressed by him towards the party,” Pawan said.
He reminded that even in the past, Ravi Teja had left the party expressing the same anguish but had come back into the party after some time.
“I wish Goddess Jaganmatha to bestow him with a bright future and his family with good luck and prosperity,” Pawan said.
Apparently, Ravi Teja’s resignation seems to have disturbed the Jana Sena chief and more than that, his comments about Pawan’s “divisive character” had a lot of impact on him.
However, Pawan chose his words cautiously while issuing the statement accepting Raju Ravi Teja’s resignation, as he might be expecting the latter’s return to the party once again. Or, he might have thought any counter attack on Raju might backfire on him.
So, better to keep quiet!
