Pawan Kalyan contested from Vizag (Gajuwaka) in 2019 elections. Initially the Janasena assumed that he would win with a 1 lakh majority for sure.
But shockingly he was pushed to third place by the voters. Pawan Kalyan stopped visiting Vizag after that.
In the middle of 2019 he made a Vizag tour in the name of Long March. That was the last time he made any political appearance in Vizag.
At present, he is not even responding to the idea of Janasainiks to contest again from that place in the next elections.
Sources say that he is interested in contesting from Tirupati. So he is shifting to Rayalaseema from Uttarandhra. With this, the PK fans in Coastal Andhra are getting disappointed.
Pawan told the Janasainiks that he would tour the entire state from Vizag to Anantapur after the first wave of Corona. But so far he could do nothing of that sort.
On the whole, it looks clear that Pawan Klayan divorced Vizag politically.
