In a communique sent to all his friends and well-wishers, Ravi Teja said he had nothing to do with Pawan Kalyan or Jana Sena Party which he had helped to create in 2014.

“I was the first General Secretary of the party who created the party ideology and the party constitution and played a critical role in starting the party. Currently, I am a member of the party politburo, which I have reluctantly agreed to be upon Pawan Kalyan's insistence,” he explained.

Ravi Teja declared that he would not work with Pawan Kalyan or be associated with him or with the Jana Sena party ever again.

“Once a good man, Pawan Kalyan has turned into a dangerous divisive force driven by vindictiveness and caste and religious hate. He should never be allowed to occupy office of political or social power,” he said and signed off with a comment: “What you received without deserving, will disappear without your consent.”

Ravi Teja has been a consultant for a few international companies and missionaries. He joined hands with Pawan as he found his ideology was similar to that of Jana Sena chief. In the initial days, Pawan used to take his advices on every issue.

Later, for some reasons, Raji Teja and Pawan fell apart after 2014 elections. Subsequently, Ravi Teja went abroad to look after his own activities. However, he surfaced in Jana Sena again before 2019 elections and was attending the internal meetings held by Pawan to discuss the party strategies.

He started playing the crucial role in the party and worked on image building for Pawan. After the humiliating defeat in the elections, Pawan inducted Ravi Teja into the politburo but now, the latter seems to have got disgusted with him and decided to quit the party.
