OTT Release Flow Begins with Miss India

Tollywood big stars set their eyes on Sankranthi 2021. But OTT companies are keeping the audiences entertained with the regular supply of new releases.

Starting tonight, we will get to see several straight and dubbed Telugu releases streaming on Netflix, Amazon, Aha, and other platforms. 

Keerthy Suresh’s “Miss India” streams this midnight (November 4) on Netflix. Keerthy Suresh has played an entrepreneur. Without much publicity and promotion, this film is premiering on an OTT platform.

Among other prominent direct to OTT releases in November are – Suriya’s “Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra” (Amazon) and Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer “Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma” (Aha). 

Suriya’s “Aakasam Nee Haddhu Ra” is the most-awaited film. The trailer was stunning. It will stream in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously on November 12 as Diwali treat.

Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani’s much-awaited ‘Laxmii’ (earlier known as ‘Laxmmi Bomb’) is hitting the Disney Hotstar platform on November 9.

A remake of “Kanchana”, the horror-comedy is directed by Raghava Lawrence and this marks the debut of Akshay Kumar on OTT space with a direct release. 

Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat starrer “Chhalaang”, a light-hearted comedy, is also having a direct digital release on Amazon Prime on November 13.

There are other small Telugu movies like “Middle Class Melodies” also slated for streaming this month.
