A delhi based Political Critic(@PCSurveysIndia) who predicted Karnataka result accurately, with the number of seats mentioned for each party matching the actual results, has now released a survey report for the Andhra Pradesh elections, stating the potential outcome if the elections were held at present.
According to the survey, YSRCP is projected to win 135 seats (+/- 5), TDP 35 seats (+/- 5), and NDA (BJP+JSP) 5 seats (+/- 2), while INDIA (Congress+) party would not secure any seats.
This has come as a shock, particularly for Jana Sena supporters, as the party appears to be struggling to gain momentum even in these elections.
The survey also includes the predicted vote shares for each party.
YSRCP is expected to obtain 49.5% of the vote share, TDP is projected to secure 38.5%, and JSP and BJP combined are estimated to get 8%. Meanwhile, INDIA is predicted to receive 2.5% of the votes, with Others obtaining 1.5%. Notably, there is a significant drop in vote share for TDP, while YSRCP's vote share is mildly reduced.
Given the accurate reporting of the Karnataka elections' results by this survey, it will be interesting to observe how well this survey aligns with the actual outcome of the Andhra Pradesh elections.
