NTR's biopic, the latest 'Sankranthi release' not only bombed at the box office, but also delivered a double blow to producer, actor Balakrishna and TDP chief, AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
While Balakrishna has become a laughing stock for delivering such a poor biopic of his father and legendary actor N T Rama Rao, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has become a target for Opposition parties for joining hands with Congress, the arch rival of TDP.
In NTR's biopic, Balayya showed why NTR launched TDP party.
The movie showed NTR taking a dig at Congress for putting the self respect and pride of Telugus at the feet of "Delhi rulers" and that he was forming TDP, to protect the self respect and pride of Telugu people.
Opposition parties in AP are now trying to use the same NTR biopic to take on TDP and Chandrababu Naidu.
They want to use the dialogues in the same film to criticise how 'power-hungry" Naidu joined hands with Congress in Telangana ignoring the fact that TDP was born on the foundation of anti-Congress by late NTR.
Political analysts see NTR biopic instead of benefitting TDP in upcoming general elections, has delivered a double blow to TDP, Chandrababu and Balayya.
