NTR-Krishna Statue With Knife In Hands

The TRS Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar has sparked controversy by associating the figurine of Lord Krishna with a rather questionable move.

There was significant outcry when he planned to erect a statue of NTR, dressed as Lord Krishna, in Khammam.

Krishna devotees expressed their objections, leading to a court order halting the statue's installation.

In an attempt to salvage the situation and not let the statue go to waste, the minister decided to remove the flute from Krishna's hands and replace it with a knife. Readmore!

The peacock quills were also removed from the crown. This action is highly questionable and can be seen as a disrespectful gesture towards Krishna devotees. It is as if Krishna is depicted holding a knife, rather than NTR holding it.

To demonstrate respect towards Hindus and devotees of Lord Krishna, the minister and his allies should consider discarding the current statue and commissioning a new statue of NTR without any get up of Hindu deities.

Failure to do so may result in the wrath of Hindus, as warned by a Hindu activist, even if the legal hassles are cleared.
