There is a joke among the trade circles that NTR Biopic is made in three parts by two different directors.
First part focussed on the life of NTR till 1982. The story of second part "NTR Mahanayakudu" ends in 1985 with the death of NT Rama Rao's wife Basavatarakam.
The third part is Ram Gopal Varma's "Lakshmi's NTR" that focuses on the incidents happened from 1989 to till NTR's death.
While the two parts were directed by Krish, the latter is helmed by maverick Ram Gopal Varma.
Latest reports suggest that the second part of NTR Biopic will end with the death of Basavatarakam who was ailing from cancer. She died in 1985. And the story ends there.
It didn't focus on Chandrababu Naidu's backstabbing, NTR's marriage with Lakshmi Paravathi and his death.
The film is releasing on Feb 22, 2019 worldwide. It has 2 hours 8 minutes of run time.
