Now, Naidu To Write Open Letters To Modi!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who claimed to have declared a big war against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, will now write a series of open letters to him, “exposing the indifferent attitude of the Centre towards Andhra Pradesh.”

A decision to this effect was taken at the meeting of Andhra cabinet held on Tuesday.

According to the sources, Naidu will write letters to the Centre questioning its failure in fulfilling promises made to the state during the bifurcation of the state, taking U-turn in setting up of the much demanded Steel Plant at Kadapa district in Rayalaseema, irresponsive behaviour of the centre over Titli Cyclone impact and many others.

The first letter will be from Naidu to the Prime Minister on the decision of the State government in establishing Steel Plant, as the Centre has failed to set up it as mandated in the AP Reorganization Act. The state government will establish the plant with private partnership. Readmore!

Naidu will also write second letter on the failure of the Centre in honouring and implementing the Reorganization Act.

The chief minister will also write a separate letter to Union Home Minister and Prime Minister seeking financial assistance for the Titli Cyclone affected area in the Srikakulam and Vizianagaram.

Naidu already wrote letters to Narendra Modi seeking immediate relief measures for the Titli affected people. The Centre sent a committee to review and assess the impact. Though the Centre announced Rs 280 crore as the relief for cyclone victims, the funds have not been released so far, the sources said.
