Now Its Peoples Amaravati, Says Jagan

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy laid the foundation stone for the construction of 50,000 houses for the weaker sections in Amaravati villages on Monday.

After laying the foundation stone and distributing house site pattas to the beneficiaries, the chief minister stated that Amaravati would now belong to the people.

He mentioned that opposition parties and some organizations have been opposing the distribution of house sites for the poor in Amaravati. They even went to the Supreme Court to challenge the allocation of house sites, as they did not want the poor to live in Amaravati.

However, he asserted that the government was able to overcome all these legal hurdles and has now fulfilled the dream of 50,000 poor families to own a house. Readmore!

He further added that his government has been assisting the poor in the health and education sectors for the last four years.

Despite this, the same parties and people have been opposing those measures and spreading misleading campaigns against the government's efforts.

Jagan Mohan Reddy pointed out that the opposition parties and a section of people were also against the government's efforts to introduce English medium in government schools and the housing program in Amaravati.

The chief minister urged the people to observe the actions of the opposition parties in the state and urged them to reject such parties.
