No Temple Entry For Dalits In Naidu's Village?

TDP president and former Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu has been raising a lot of hue and cry over the alleged atrocities on Dalits in the YSRCP regime in the state in the last 15 months.

But Naidu himself has little respect for Dalits, according to YSRC leader and deputy chief minister K Narayana Swamy.

He strongly denied the reports that appeared in a section of media and the allegations of the TDP leaders that he was humiliated during the Brahmotsavams in Tirumala last week.

“The fact is that Chandrababu Naidu himself looks down upon Dalits. In his native village Naravaripalle, Dalits have no entry into the temples even now,” Narayana Swamy alleged. Readmore!

Stating that pro-TDP media and the TDP leaders were shedding crocodile tears on the Tirumala incident, the deputy chief minister reminded that he had offered silk clothes to the deity of Tiruchanur during Brahmotsavams on behalf of the state government.

“Had it ever happened during the TDP regime? Did Chandrababu Naidu ever ask his Dalit leaders to offer silk clothes to the deity in any temple during any festival?” Narayanaswamy asked.

He alleged that Naidu was playing the Dalit card only for his selfish politics. He challenged the TDP chief to admit whether Dalits had entry into the temples in his native village Naravaripalle in Chittoor district.
