The advance bookings for the 9:30 PM show on December 4th for 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' are not yet open in Prasad Multiplex.
Not only that, even the regular shows from 5th Dec onwards are also not opened. This is first of its kind which happened only with this film.
The issue lies in the ongoing conflict between the multiplexes and the distributors of Mythri Movie Makers.
Reportedly, the distributors are hesitant to screen the film in multiplexes, as the latter generally demand a 50:50 revenue-sharing ratio, unlike single-screen theaters which have lower demands. Consequently, the distributors prefer to rely solely on single-screen theaters.
Meanwhile, the issue with Asian Cinemas and PVR has been resolved by the distributors, as those multiplex chains came down to the terms of distributors, leaving only Prasad Multiplex as an unresolved case.
The management at Prasad Multiplex remains adamant and is reportedly prepared to forgo screening the film if the distributors don't come to their terms. On the other hand, the distributors are unwilling to compromise.
This clash of egos, described as a battle between greed and need, is leaving fans anxious.
Allu Arjun's fans, in particular, are creating a frenzy at Prasad Multiplex, eagerly waiting to grab their favorite tickets as soon as advance bookings open.
