No Direct Fight Between Mahesh and Bunny

Coming Sankranti season, two big-ticket films – Mahesh Babu’s “Sarileru Neekevvaru” and Allu Arjun’s “Ala Vaikunthapuramulo” – are up for release.

This has led to the talk for some time that both these films might be released on the same day, leading to a tough fight the two big stars.

But now, it is confirmed that there is no direct fight between Mahesh and Allu Arjun, as there is going to be a day’s gap between “Sarileru Neekevvaru” and “Ala Vaikunthapuramulo.” 

While Mahesh Babu’s fim is going to be released on January 11 which falls on Saturday, Allu Arjun’s “Ala Vaikunthapuramlo” has been slated for release on Sunday, January 12. 

It is learnt the producers of two movies have come to an understanding on the release dates, after a lot of arguments and discussions.

“Sarileru Neekevvaru” is being directed by successful director Anil Ravipudi who has just recently delivered blockbuster “F2”. The film’s overseas rights were sold for a whopping Rs 13.5 crore.

“Ala Vaikunthapuramlo”, which has already released its first song on Saturday, is directed by Trivikram. The film’s overseas rights fetched the producers Rs 8.5 crore.
