Owing to the delay in theatres reopening some noted Telugu films went for OTT release.
Anushka Shetty starrer ‘Nishabdham’ was a prominent one and it’s streaming from October 2nd on Amazon Prime.
Since the film was carrying good buzz, the film reported highest number of views on the first day of its streaming.
And now the film made a rare feat i.e, it has recorded the highest viewership for a female centric South Indian movie on Amazon Prime.
Learning about this the makers of the film are super happy with this feedback and hoping that ‘Nishabdham’ would continue to get the viewership.
But this is a completely surprising thing because ‘Nishabdham’ got a mixed response from critics and audiences.
Well, the movie had a weak story but in terms of narration and technical values, the film is strong and this might be one of those reasons. Director Hemanth should be credited here.
Aided by Anushka’s performance as a mute woman which was well received.
