Chiranjeevi to invite Jagan for Sye Raa show!

Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan will meet Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Amaravathi on Friday to invite him for the special screening of “Sye Raa”.

This is for the first time that Chiranjeevi will be meeting Jagan after the latter became the chief minister. So is Ram Charan, though his team made a representation to Jagan government seeking permission for extra shows.

Sources said Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan would first congratulate Jagan on becoming chief minister and also thank him personally for allowing the six shows for the film.

Now that the film is running successfully, they are requesting him to watch the movie, which depicts the valour of Rayalaseema warlords.

“Sye Raa” is the story of freedom warrior Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who led a rebellion against the British from the Renadu region of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh in the 1840’s. The forgotten hero’s life has been brought onto the screen.

There were rumors that Jagan Reddy was not happy with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan for various reasons. Jagan personally called Chiranjeevi to invite him for the swearing-in ceremony but the megastar could not attend.

Ram Charan also tweeted harshly about Jagan when he was arrested in a CBI case foisted against him by the then Centre in 2011.

In this backdrop, it is interesting that both Chiru and Ram Charan are meeting Jagan at Amaravati. The appointment has been fixed. It is not exactly known whether there is any other agenda for the meeting, other than just invitation to the special show of Sye Raa.

Recently, YSR Congress party leaders Raghurama Krishnam Raju and PVP were spotted at the Sye Raa Atmeeya Sabha held by T Subbirami Reddy.
