No Politics In KCR, Jagan Talks?

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had a lengthy meeting on Monday night at KCR’s official bungalow Pragathi Bhavan.

The meeting lasted nearly four hours and naturally, it would generate a lot of curiosity among the people as to what they would have discussed.

The official statements from both the chief minster’s offices revealed that they had a fruitful discussion on the proposed project of diverting Godavari waters to Krishna basin at a minimum expenditure and least land acquisition, but that would fetch maximum benefits to both the states.

They also discussed issues pending to be resolved between both the states, training to police personnel etc.

There were also reports about KCR appreciating the concept of reverse tendering adopted by Jagan.

So far so good. But when two politicians, that too chief ministers of two neighbouring states, meet, it is nothing but natural to discuss the political situation in both the states.

Apparently, Jagan is understood to have explained to KCR how the TDP was creating a big nuisance in Andhra Pradesh on issues like Amaravati, Polavaram, Krishna floods and Kodela Sivaprasad suicide etc. And KCR appreciated the firm stand taken by YSRC in dealing with the opposition.

At the same time, the TRS president also explained to Jagan how the Bharatiya Janata Party has turned out be an irritant factor for his party in Telangana.

While the Congress has been completely crushed beyond the scope of revival, the TRS is facing a nuisance from the BJP, KCR reportedly told Jagan.

KCR is also learnt to have asked as to what was happening to the river front house of Naidu, where he had the lunch in 2015, when he attended the Amaravati Foundation Stone ceremony.

These are natural issues that would come up for discussion when two chief ministers meet after a long time.

So, such speculations can be harmless!
