Venky Mama is one of the most anticipated films of the year with Venkatesh and his nephew Naga Chaitanya teaming up for the first time.
The film is bankrolled by Suresh Babu and directed by Bobby of Jai Lava Kusa fame.
It was supposed to hit the theaters in October, but it is now pushed to December according to the buzz.
There were reports that Venky Mama will arrive on October 2 if Sye Raa gets delayed.
Later there were reports that it is targeting at Diwali release, but now the multi-starrer has been pushed to December. This is not good news for other films that are aiming for Christmas weekend.
Nithin's Bheeshma, Raviteja's Disco Raja, Sai Dharam Tej's Prathi Roju Pandage and Sharwanand's 96 are currently in race for December third week release.
If Venky Mama gets pushed to the same weekend, then there would a major shuffle in release dates.
