Manmadhudu 2: First Week Collections

Nagarjuna has scored another disaster in his career after “Officer”. Ram Gopal Varma directed “Officer” collected mere Rs 1.5 Cr in its entire run and no film that has a star in the lead role would beat such record. This record most probably will remain with Nagarjuna forever.

He has now got a similar result with “Manmadhudu 2” but collections are slightly better.

The film hit the screens on August 9th and completed its first-week run. By end of the first week, the movie's run got terminated in most of the theaters.

In its first week, the Nagarjuna starrer collected Rs 10.20 Cr which is one of the lowest first-week collections for a big star movie.

The film’s pre-release theatrical business was done to the tune of Rs 20 Cr. It needs another Rs 10 Cr to breakeven.

However, the film has been taken out from almost all major screens. It will end up incurring huge losses to the distributors and producers.

Nagarjuna produced this romantic drama in association with P Kiran and other production houses. All are going to lose heavily.
