Bollywood actress Tabu will be acting in two new Telugu films – in Allu Arjun’s current film and Rana’s “Virata Parvam”.
Although Tabu has begun her career in Tollywood, she later shifted her base to Mumbai and she still is getting big projects in Bollywood.
She can play a lead actress as well as a character artiste and also a villain’s role. Her versatility is the reason that filmmakers are making a beeline to sign her.
Naturally, she is demanding high remuneration. At present, Tollywood’s leading actresses are demanding Rs 1 plus Cr per movie.
In Allu Arjun’s film, Pooja Hegde is the main heroine and in Rana’s “Virata Parvam”, Sai Pallavi is the solo lead actress. But Tabu is said to be getting more remuneration than these two actresses.
Generally, the lead actresses would have objected to knowing that a character artiste is getting paid more than them.
But they are aware that Tabu brings a good rate to their movies when they sell it for Hindi dubbing rights.
So, Tabu is getting paid more remuneration.
