Dil Raju to get berth in TTD trust board?

Popular producer of Telugu film film industry Dil Raju is most likely to be appointed as member of the prestigious Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board shortly.

It may be mentioned that YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s uncle Y V Subba Reddy took charge as the TTD chairman in Tirumala on Saturday.

The other members of the trust board will be appointed very shortly, a GO issued by the government on Friday said.

Interestingly, Dil Raju also took part in the swearing-in ceremony of Subba Reddy as the TTD chairman.

Needless to say, Dil Raju is a staunch devotee of Lord Venkateshwara and because of his devotion on the Lord, he named his production house as “Sri Venkateshwara Creations” and achieved tremendous success as a producer in the Tollywood.

Sources said Dil Raju would be appointed as TTD board member in the Telangana quota.

His name was apparently recommended to Jagan by Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and Siricilla MLA K T Rama Rao, during the latter’s visit to Vijayawada to extend invitation to the AP chief minister for Kaleshwaram inauguration.

Since Jagan has friendly relations with KTR’s father and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he had readily agreed to the request of KTR.

If Dil Raju’s appointment is finalised, his long-pending dream will be fulfilled!
