PVP aka Prasad V Potluri who recently contested as MP for Vijayawada seat on YCP ticket is trying to bounce back in Tollywood. Three years ago, his production house was one of the busiest film companies in South India.
He produced big ticket movies like “Balupu”, “Vishwaroopam”, “Ghazi”, “Brahmotsavam”, “Size Zero”, “Oopiri”, etc. However, with “Brahmotsavam” and “Size Zero” bringing heavy losses, he stopped producing films in big way.
Now that elections are over, only results are to be announced, PVP is reviving his production house.
He was seen actively participating in the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu’s “Maharshi” in which he was one of the partners along with Ashwini Dutt. If this film becomes hit, he will start producing big movies again.
Buzz is that PVP Cinema will also line up some concept-based small movies in the coming months.
