1) Majili: Telugu cinema box office has suffered a huge slump post Sankranthi and theaters ran empty for nearly two months. The drought has finally come to an end with Majili setting the box office on fire.
The film has taken a superb start all over and has posted terrific numbers in its first weekend. The film will recover its costs in a couple of days and is set to become a big blockbuster.
2) Prema Katha Chitram 2: Despite being named after a super successful horror comedy, PKC2 couldn't attract attention.
It turned out to be an unbearable film that it has entered the least rated films of all time.
3) Lakshmi's NTR: Controversy sells better than regular biopics. Lakshmi's NTR did well in its first weekend in Telangana and US. Stopping the film's release in AP spiked the interest of filmgoers and it got benefitted by it.
4) Suryakantham: Niharika's hopes of scoring a hit came crashing down with Suryakantham miserably failing to get noticed. It is yet another flop for the Mega heroine.
5) Romeo Akbar Walter: The spy thriller has grabbed attention with interesting promos but couldn't live up to the expectations. It had a pretty ordinary first weekend in Nizam.
