It is a common trend we are seeing in Andhra Pradesh polls this time that many politicians are bringing out their wives and daughters for the campaign in support of their candidacy. This is not confined to a few, but many politicians of all parties are doing this.

It is known that the Center is making moves for the 50% Women Reservation Bill, with which many constituencies in India would become women constituencies.
No one knows which constituency would become a woman constituency. So, as a backup plan, the politicians are preparing their wives and daughters as their heirs to safeguard their domain.
Moreover, the genuine people who wish for the success of a politician wholeheartedly are his wife and children, as they enjoy the power more than anyone else, including the candidate.
So, their campaign will always be genuine without any hidden agendas. This is another reason for encouraging own family members into the campaign instead of relying on others.
