Kamma Rajyamlo Referred to Revising Committee

After High Court asked the CBFC to complete the censor formalities of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’, the board watched the film and raised many objections.

The members didn’t agree to give clearance to the movie as it is a political thriller that has references to many living persons.

Ram Gopal Varma reportedly didn’t agree with the changes suggested by the members. Therefore, it has now been decided to refer the movie to the revised committee for review and necessary approvals.

‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’ has created a lot of buzz with its trailers and two songs.

The film was pulled out from the release at the eleventh hour as the makers didn’t get clearance from the censor board.

The nature of the subject and the caste angle in the movie is the main reason for the objections.

Ram Gopal Varma has reportedly showcased former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as the villain in this political thriller. Former minister Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan are the jokers in this movie.
