Ram Charan starring, Buchi Babu Sana’s directorial Peddi was initially set to release in March 2026.
The makers have now officially announced a June release. However, the film is still undergoing reshoots for betterment.
That said, sources suggest that Ram Charan is reportedly unhappy with announcing a release month when there is no clarity on when the shooting will be completed.
He is worried that repeated postponements could impact the film negatively, and he does have a point.
On the other hand, the producers cannot postpone indefinitely without announcing at least a tentative date or month, as the entire distribution and exhibition network works accordingly within the ecosystem.
Earlier, there was news about a pending item song and another track. Now, it is said that some reshoots are also happening. It remains to be seen if the film will release in June or not.
Janhvi Kapoor is playing the female lead, while A. R. Rahman is composing the music.
