Dhurandhar 2 has achieved a massive milestone by entering the â¹1,500 crore club in just 16 days of its worldwide theatrical run.
With this, the film has become the fastest Indian movie to reach that mark, surpassing Pushpa 2, which had taken 17 days to achieve the same feat.
The film’s current worldwide gross stands at â¹1,536.53 crore, putting it firmly on track to overtake the lifetime global total of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which closed at â¹1,785.84 crore.
If that happens, Dhurandhar 2 will enter the top 3 highest-grossing Indian films of all time at the worldwide box office.
Once it crosses Pushpa 2, the next immediate target will be Baahubali 2, which stands at â¹1,800 crore globally.
Given the current momentum, crossing that mark may not be too difficult. However, the real challenge will begin after that, because the ultimate target remains Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which still holds the all-time record as the only Indian film to cross â¹2,000 crore worldwide.
As things stand now, the list of the top highest-grossing Indian films worldwide is led by Dangal with â¹2,059.04 crore, followed by Baahubali 2 at â¹1,800 crore, Pushpa 2 at â¹1,785.84 crore, Dhurandhar 2 at â¹1,536.53 crore in just 16 days, and the first part Dhurandhar at â¹1,354.84 crore.
At this pace, Dhurandhar 2 is not just rewriting records; it is now marching straight into the all-time Indian box office elite club.
