Dhurandhar 2, also known as Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office.
Despite strong competition in the North American market, the Ranveer Singh starrer continues to remain one of the top choices for audiences.
The spy-action thriller has now gone past the lifetime collection of Kalki 2898 AD and emerged as the third highest-grossing Indian film in North America.
This kind of performance was widely expected, especially after the massive success of the first Dhurandhar.
According to early estimates, Dhurandhar 2 earned around $855K on Day 9, and it is now heading towards a second Friday total of $1.2 million to $1.3 million+ in North America.
With this, the film’s cumulative total in North America has touched $19 million as of Friday early shows.
The box office trend has been extraordinary, and if the current momentum continues, the film is expected to go past the total of its predecessor, Dhurandhar ($20.65 million), even before the end of its second weekend.
At present, the list of the highest-grossing Indian films in North America stands like this:
Baahubali 2 remains at the top with $22 million, followed by Dhurandhar with $20.65 million. Dhurandhar 2 has now taken the third spot with $19 million in just 9 days, pushing Kalki 2898 AD ($18.57 million) to fourth place. Pathaan follows with $17.49 million.
With its current pace, Dhurandhar 2 is now firmly heading toward another historic milestone in North America.
