Harish Shankar continues to actively promote “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” despite the film’s disappointing box office performance.
He is leaving no stone unturned to keep the film in the public conversation, interacting with fans and even visiting colleges.
Actresses Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna have also been joining him in these promotional activities.
Unlike most of his films, Pawan Kalyan limited his promotions to a pre-release event. This has put the onus on Harish Shankar to carry forward the post-release buzz.
“Ustaad Bhagat Singh” has already been declared a flop, registering some of the lowest openings in Pawan Kalyan’s career in several regions.
In North America, the film is unlikely to even cross the $1 million mark in its full run.
Harish Shankar, however, is fully aware of the box office reality but remains proud of the film.
He says the movie conveys a message about respecting India and touches upon the issue of terror cells in the Telugu states.
Responding strongly to online criticism, he said he does not care about trolling.
“Those who indulge in trolling are faceless identities. They sit in the dark and throw stones. I am here facing everyone. I don’t give a damn about trolls. This film didn’t set records or collect big numbers like others, but I am not worried. Not every film needs to create records,” he stated.
