Currently, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion holds the record for the biggest opening weekend by an Indian film in North America with about $10.1 million.
Even blockbuster titles like Animal, RRR, and Pushpa 2: The Rule have not come close to that mark.
Now, “Dhurandhar 2” appears poised to challenge the long-standing record set by “Baahubali 2” and potentially create a new benchmark.
Interestingly, the first film, Dhurandhar, had collected about $20 million in its entire theatrical run. However, its sequel is now expected to aim for nearly $12 million in just the opening weekend, reflecting the massive hype surrounding the film.
