A fresh political controversy has erupted after MLC Duvvada Srinivas Rao made sharp remarks against TTD Chairman B R Naidu.
Speaking about the issue, Duvvada Srinivas Rao questioned why action was ordered against him for celebrating Thanuja Puttaswamy’s birthday by cutting an eggless cake.
He said that instructions were given to take action against him over the cake-cutting video. However, he argued that there was nothing wrong with the celebration.
Taking a direct swipe at the TTD Chairman, Srinivas Rao said, “You say you did not find anything wrong even after watching your own rasaleela video. Then I also did not find anything wrong in the video of me cutting an eggless cake for a birthday.”
His remarks have now sparked a debate in political circles, with leaders from different parties reacting strongly to the comments.
The controversy is likely to intensify in the coming days as both sides continue to exchange accusations.
