Nizam Needs Daring Distributors With Deep Pockets

Recently, there has been renewed buzz around the Nizam distribution circuit in Tollywood, with frequent reports of new offices opening.

The Nizam area has seen many distributors like Asian Sunil, Suresh Babu and Dil Raju over the decades. Figures like Sudhakar Reddy and Abhishek Nama once distributed hundreds of films.

In this situation, Mythri Movie Makers entered distribution with strong financial backing and films in hand, expanding their theatre presence to strengthen their hold.

Already, the producers of Mythri Movie Makers stepped forward and began distribution by placing Nellore-based distributor Shashi at the forefront. With this move, Mythri entered the Nizam distribution space in a serious way.

Amidst this, Sithara Naga Vamsi has now moved away from Dil Raju and aligned himself with Annapurna, which has triggered speculation that major changes are underway in the Nizam circuit.

More recently, there has also been news that young producer Dheeraj Mogilineni is planning to start his own distribution office, adding further buzz to the ongoing developments in the Nizam distribution market.

Still, Nizam distribution is not easy. Mere release without buying films offers no value. What Nizam truly needs are strong buyers who can purchase films outright and distribute them with confidence.
