Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for Peddi, but the star has already announced his next project, tentatively titled #RC17, to be directed by Sukumar.
The Pushpa filmmaker has reportedly been working on the script for quite some time.
The latest buzz on social media suggests that Sukumar is considering making RC17 as a two-part film, following the template he successfully employed with Pushpa.
While Pushpa: The Rise emerged as a major hit, Pushpa 2 went on to become a mega blockbuster, reportedly grossing close to Rs 1700 crore worldwide and ranking among the biggest Indian films of all time.
Industry chatter indicates that Sukumar may be keen on repeating the same strategy with RC17, expanding the narrative across two films to maximize scale and returns. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers so far.
According to reports, RC17 is expected to go on floors either next month or in April, with regular shooting likely to begin after the summer holidays.
Ram Charan is also said to be undergoing yet another makeover for the role, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.
