Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s pan-India film Peddi, which was earlier planned for release on March 19th, has now been postponed to a new summer date.
The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, will hit theatres in peak summer on April 30th, which is considered a better slot than the previous one.
Ram Charan appears in a fierce, rugged avatar in the release date poster, with long, tousled hair and beard, intense gaze, wearing a grimy shirt that reveals his muscular build.
He's seen standing among a crowd of rustic men, amplifying the film's raw, mass-appeal vibe.
Peddi is in its final stage of production, with post-production works progressing simultaneously.
So far, the makers have unveiled the first-look posters of the lead cast, along with a glimpse and the song Chikiri Chikiri, all of which received a tremendous response.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady, while Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu play key roles.
Ram Charan plays a rugged, rustic character in the film and will be seen in multiple looks.
