Chandrababu Naidu repeats the same old 'self boasting' mode even in Davos. He said he is the reason many Telugu people work in Europe.
Earlier, he also claimed he built Hyderabad, Hitech City, the airport, and major roads.
Many leaders, including Revanth Reddy, earlier clarified to the world that these works happened during Congress rule, but nothing to do with Chandrababu. Still, Naidu continues self-praise without limits.
He seems to know that party members and friendly media cannot sell false stories as good as him. So he promotes himself with laughable stories, which makes people feel tired and angry.
People online now openly question him. They say their parents made sacrifices, not Chandrababu, to send them to Europe.
History shows Telugu engineers went abroad due to merit and hard work but not by the grace of any politicians.
Many studied outside the state of Andhra Pradesh earlier, as it was tough to get into limited number of Engineering colleges, which were of good standards.
Later, too many poor colleges were allowed in Chandrababu's tenure, reducing standards and leaving many jobless.
Other cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai grew faster without loud claims by leaders. Development happens due to location and long-term effort.
Naidu has some respect earned in national level as a senior politician. To protect that image, he should stop excessive credit-taking. Otherwise, public laughter will turn into loss of trust.
