Amid these developments, reports about a possible postponement of SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited project Varanasi grabbed widespread attention.
Headlined by Mahesh Babu and directed by Rajamouli, the globe-trotting film was officially announced for a 2027 release.
However, recent social media rumors claimed that the film might not make it to theaters in 2027 as planned.
Putting an end to the speculation, the makers issued a clear clarification, reiterating: “Coming in 2027.”
Apart from Mahesh Babu, Varanasi also features Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Prakash Raj in key roles.
