Telugu cinema fans have plenty to look forward to in 2026, with several big films expected to release across the year.
The year is likely to begin on a festive note with The Raja Saab, which is scheduled for a 9 January 2026 release during the Sankranthi season. Close on its heels is Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, also expected to arrive on January 12, as a festival release .
Moving into February, Swayambhu starring Nikhil Siddhartha as a warrior, directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, with Samyuktha Menon and Nabha Natesh in lead female roles, set to release in February 2026.
March is shaping up to be one of the busiest months, with Decoit starring Adavi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur directed by Shaneil Deo, expected around mid March, followed by a major clash on March 26 with both Peddi of Ram Charan in the direction of Sana Butchi Babu and Srikanth Odela's directorial 'The Paradise' starring Nani hitting theatres.
'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' starring Pawan Kalyan in the direction of Harish Shankar is also coming in this season.
Of course, March also has the biggest release 'Dhurandhar 2' in Telugu version as well. Though not a Tollywood product, this film is expected to shake box office in Telugu states as well.
The summer season may see the release of Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara around June 2026, although the final date is yet to be locked . The much talked about NBK and Gopichand Malineni Movie is also expected sometime in 2026, with the release month still under wraps.
Finally, Prabhas' Fauji in the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi may or may not make it to screens in 2026, depending on production progress, making it a project to watch closely.
The point to be noted is the top stars of Tollywood Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu and NTR are not greeting the box office this year.
