Ranveer Singh–starrer “Dhurandhar” is creating history at the box office, with the film reportedly eyeing major milestones.
It is now aiming to surpass Baahubali 2’s North America record and Pushpa 2’s domestic India record, underlining its massive nationwide appeal.
Following the film’s phenomenal success, the makers have officially begun work on “Dhurandhar 2.”
In an interesting move, the production house recently confirmed through a special poster that the sequel will be released in Telugu, along with other South Indian languages.
Industry insiders reveal that several filmmakers, including Ram Gopal Varma, have advised the team to give special attention to the Telugu market for the second part.
Director Aditya Dhar is said to be a long-time admirer of Ram Gopal Varma and Telugu cinema, which has further influenced this decision.
Moreover, Telugu audiences are known to contribute significantly to box-office collections—not just in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but also in North America, where Telugu films consistently perform strongly.
Considering all these factors, the makers of “Dhurandhar 2” are expected to take extra care in crafting and promoting the Telugu version to maximize its reach and impact.
