“Dhurandhar” is enjoying a dream run both in India and overseas. The film has already grossed a massive $20.9 million in international markets, despite not being screened in key Gulf territories due to a ban.
The Ranveer Singh starrer continues to rake in strong numbers in North America, even as James Cameron’s Avatar 3 has taken over a majority of the screens. By the end of its third weekend, “Dhurandhar” crossed $12 million at the US box office.
During its third weekend alone, the film collected $2 million, pushing its total well past the $12 million mark. With this, “Dhurandhar” has emerged as the biggest North American hit of Ranveer Singh’s career, surpassing his previous best, Padmaavat.
The film is now aiming to reach the lifetime grosses of big-ticket blockbusters like RRR, Animal, and Pushpa 2, all of which have crossed $15 million in North America.
