Naidu to celebrate 75th birthday abroad!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who will be turning 75 on April 20, will not be available to the people and party leaders who want to greet him on that day.

Even as the party leaders are planning a big birthday bash for Naidu on April 20, he, along with his family is preparing for a foreign trip along with his family. The destination, however, has not been disclosed to the party and the people.

“Since the formation of the coalition government in the state, the CM has had a packed schedule. This trip is reportedly a short break from his official responsibilities,” a party leader said.

Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to depart on his international trip on April 17, accompanied by his family. The tour is expected to last five days.

He is likely to celebrate his birthday, which falls on April 20, abroad with his family. After the celebrations, the CM will return to Amaravati.

Earlier reports from government sources indicated that Naidu might celebrate his birthday in Amaravati itself as there was a possibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting Amaravati in the third week of April to initiate the capital’s reconstruction works.

However, updated information suggests that the tour has been pushed to May 2, when the Prime Minister is now expected to arrive in Amaravati and officially launch the redevelopment efforts. Sources cite the PM’s packed schedule as the reason for the postponement.

With the PM programme getting rescheduled, it now appears that Chandrababu Naidu will complete his foreign tour and return before the Prime Minister's visit.
