'Pushpa 2 Reloaded': Will It Work At Box Office?

It’s common for films to add a song, fight, or scene, but Pushpa 2 stands out by adding 20 minutes back to its runtime and re-releasing on 17th Jan.

Initially, the final cut was 3 hours and 40 minutes, but fearing the lengthy runtime, it was trimmed to 3 hours and 20 minutes for release.

Still it was lengthy. Despite concerns, the film was released at this length and became a big hit. However, outside the Ceded region, the movie hasn’t yet broken even.

Critics and audiences noted issues with the first cut, like gaps in logic, Shekhawat’s underdeveloped character, and missing links in the narrative.

To address these, the original 3.40 version is now being released in theaters, promising stronger hero elevations and a complete Shekhawat arc.

The challenge remains- how many will return to rewatch? To draw crowds, ticket prices in Nizam are being slashed to 120 rupees on single screens.

Let’s see how this revised version 'Pushpa 2-Reloaded' fares from Jan 17th.
