YS Abhishek Reddy, a cousin and close confidant of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, passed away at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad.
A doctor by profession, Abhishek was a trusted member of Jagan's inner circle and served as the Lingala Mandal in-charge for the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).
Abhishek had been battling health complications for the past three months and was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Known for his close relationship with Jagan, he was widely regarded as a rising star, seemingly being groomed for a significant role in both political and personal spheres.
The YS family is deeply grieved by this untimely loss. Abhishek’s passing is seen as a major setback, not only politically but also personally for Jagan, for whom the void left by his cousin’s absence is immeasurable.
