India has launched an investigation into Canadian colleges reportedly involved in a human trafficking racket, facilitating the illegal migration of Indian nationals into the United States.

Authorities reveal that several individuals obtained Canadian student visas but failed to attend the colleges upon arrival in Canada. Instead, they illegally crossed the border into the US.

Each individual was allegedly charged exorbitant amounts of Rs 55 to Rs 60 lakh for this scheme.
