If the reports doing rounds in the media circles are true, Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun is contemplating establishment of a trust in the name of nine-year-old Sri Teja, who was injured in the Sandhya Theatre stampede during the screening of premiere show Pushpa-2.
According to the reports, Allu Arjun is reportedly planning to establish the ‘Sri Teja Trust’ with a fund of Rs 2 crore.
While the actor himself would contribute Rs 1 crore to the trust, Pushpa-2 director would contribute Rs 50 lakh and Mythri Movie Makers another Rs 50 lakh.
The interest generated from the trust's capital will be utilized for better healthcare and education needs of the affected family.
Sri Teja's father and prominent figures from the film industry are expected to be members of this trust.
If necessary, there is a possibility of raising additional funds for the trust in the future. The primary intention behind this initiative is to provide lifelong support to the victim's family.
While the Pushpa team has not made any official announcement regarding this plan, it is reported that Allu Arjun will personally announce it once legal hurdles are cleared.
