Why is YSRCP not taking action against Jogi?

If the leader of a political party attends the meeting organised by another political party, it amounts to indiscipline and crossing of party line.

The party has to give him a show-cause notice and if his explanation is not satisfactory, he has to be suspended from the party.

But it appears there is no such practice in the YSR Congress party led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He seems to be least bothered to take any action if his party leaders violate the party discipline and attend the meeting of the TDP or Jana Sena Party rallies. Readmore!

On Monday, senior YSRCP leader and former minister Jogi Ramesh attended the rally organised by the Gouda Sangham on the occasion of unveiling of Sardar Gouthu Latchanna statue.

It was an out and out TDP rally, as almost all the participants were TDP leaders and workers, including Latchanna’s granddaughter Gouthu Sireesha. So, the presence of Jogi Ramesh alongside the TDP leaders at the event is certainly against the party line of the YSRCP.

But surprisingly, the YSRCP leadership seems to have completely ignored it. It is a fact that Jogi Ramesh has not been actively participating in the YSRCP activities, but he is still a party leader.

Jagan should have at least given a show-cause notice to Ramesh seeking an explanation from him, if not suspending him from the party immediately. But no such attempt has been made from the party. And it appears the party itself has sent him to the TDP meeting to create disturbance in the ruling party, an analyst said.
