This means that the film is still under shoot till today. The release of the film is scheduled on December 5th which is just 9 days to go.

Meanwhile, the runtime of Pushpa 2 is reported to be 3 hours and 20 minutes, according to internal sources.

Earlier, it was said to be 3 hours and 15 minutes. Regardless, the difference is negligible. However, editing a film of this magnitude requires considerable time and effort.

A surprising update from insiders reveals that crucial tasks, such as sound mixing, are still pending. The re-recording is also ongoing simultaneously, with teams working around the clock to meet deadlines.

The immediate priority is finalizing the content and sending it to the censor board. Once submitted, the board will schedule a screening and issue a certification. If any edits are suggested, the film will require additional work in the editing suite.

Additionally, the film must pass censorship in various international regions, including Europe and the Gulf countries, where stricter guidelines apply. Subtitling for international versions is another task that needs urgent attention.

Given the long weekends and vacation mood in regions like the UAE, completing censor formalities and planning the global release adds to the challenges.

The finalized content, complete with mixing and screening readiness, must be sent to the USA and other territories well in advance to facilitate smooth theater bookings.

The situation is undoubtedly tense, but there’s a silver lining—since the runtime discussion is now settled, the film appears ready for censor board review. All eyes are on the team as they race against time to ensure a seamless release.
